MMI restores hope through Zimbabwe hospital partnership

The ongoing partnership between Medical Mission International and South Medical has facilitated the transformation of a previously defunct hospital into a success story. South Medical is now estimated to be one of the largest hospitals in Zimbabwe, and thanks to MMI funding, supplies and equipment, one of the best-equipped hospitals in the country. The hospital, located in Chitungwiza, a city of about one million people is about 30 km out of the capital city of Harare.

Philippines Programme reaches dumpsite families and impoverished children

Medical Mission International supports a feeding programme, a lifeline for about 150 children living in deplorable conditions around the Catmon dumpsite in Malabon, Metro Manila. These neglected and often abandoned children receive nutritious meals five times each week. The MMI funded programme creates a nurturing environment for the children and provides access to life changing services that promote and improve each child’s life and overall well-being.  

MMI Agricultural grants to Zimbabwe hospital create productivity, profitability and sustainability

Medical Missions create smiles and transform faces and lives 

Medical Mission International is transforming faces and changing lives around the world. Each year, MMI sponsors medical teams who perform surgeries on children born with cleft lips and palates, a genetic birth defect that causes an opening in the lip and/or the roof of the mouth. The MMI surgeries are held in multiple countries each year and provided free of charge to poor children with this crippling disability. Medical Mission International has sent teams to the Philippines, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe and Zambia.

MMI delivers care to the needy in remote Turkana region of Kenya

Medical Mission International is reaching needy families in the Turkana drought region in northern Kenya. MMI sponsors the operations of a permanent medical clinic, located in Lodwar, the largest town in the area and MMI also funds mobile outreaches that travel on a regular basis to nearly twenty remote villages in the region. The clinic and mobile missions provide treatment at no cost to the sick and suffering who often have no other access to medical care.
